TWO DEAD IN EAST LONDON SHOOTING

A shooting in East London has left two men dead and a third critically injured.
The police were called after reports of a fight breaking out and shots being fired on around 12.15 am, the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Officers on the scene found three men with gunshot injuries. One of the men, who was only in his 20s, was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene while the other died a short time later.

The metropolitan police said they have made no arrests and the investigation continues.

The police force are understood to believe they know the identity of the man in his 20s that was killed, but are working on identifying the other killed in the shooting that took place on Henley road Ilford.


Armed police were amongst those who responded the police said.
