RICHARD KEYS AIMS DIG AT PUNDITS FOR UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR

BY JAMES SMITH
Richard Keys aimed a dig at pundits Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher by suggesting some of their recent punditry work was 'unprofessional' and similar to what saw him leave Sky Sports. Keys and his long time broadcast partner Andy Gray infamously were let go from their jobs at sky after making sexist
and derogatory remarks.

Keys works at beIN Sports in Qatar, but his dismissal from Sky still follows him to this day. Last year, he said he thought the incident was set up and he has since kept making snipes at his former employers, plus other broadcasters.

The 65-year-old shared a clip of Carragher and Richards working for CBS Sports on their Champions League coverage.

The video shows Jamie asking co host Kate Abdo who was the most impressive footballer she has interviewed is.

"Impressive in what sense?" Abdo replies to which Carragher says: "You tell me" with a slight smirk before bursting out laughing.

Abdo goes on to list Lionel Messi, Pele and Diego Maradona, before Micah Richards gets involved and inquires about fellow pundit Thierry Henry.

"Thierry is like a friend though!" Abdo says which drew a lot of laughter. "What sort of friend?" Richards asked as he and Carragher continue to crack up laughing. Carragher then jokes, "I've seen you in the canteen at lunchtime!"

To most, it was some light hearted fun on a show that doesn't take things to seriously, but keys who has his own history with controversy, seems to think it's more than that.
