Piers Morgan has criticised the Australian men's football team after they hit out at world cup organisers and hosts Qatar over the deaths of thousands of workers, he says they should boycott the world cup if they feel that strongly about human rights.

Morgan has snapped back at them after they became the first nation to speak out openly against Qatar and the poor treatment of workers and the LGBTQ+ community.

He also said to his 7.9 million Twitter followers: "Fine virtue signalling words... presume you will now be boycotting the tournament?"
