CAPTAIN AMERICA RISES AGAIN FOR REAL LIFE HERO CHRIS EVAN'S BECOMES CAPTAIN AMERICA FOR 6-YEAR OLD HERO WHO SAVED HIS SISTER

BY VICTORIA WADLEY
For those of us that thought real hero's no longer existed - i would like to introduce you to 6-year old Briger Walker who saved his 4-year old sister from a charging dog.

This young hero sustained considerable damage to his head and face, and required a 2 hour surgery and over 90 stitches. The story was shared by his Aunt Nicole Walker whose aim was to get Bridger some encouragement from his hero's the Avengers. The now viral instagram post worked its internet magic and the family advised that they have heard from a multitude of the cast including Robbie Amell, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman Zachary Levi, Mark Ruffalo, and the Russo brothers. Next it was the turn of Captain America himself Chris Evan's who we might all have been forgiven for thinking he had retired his cape following the ending of Avengers: Endgame.

However that is not the case - Evan's in full Captain attire sent a message to the young boy which praised Bridger as a hero and is quoted to having said:

«Hey, Bridger. Captain America here. How you doin', buddy? So I read your story. I saw what you did, and I'm sure you've heard a lot of this over the last couple days, but let me be the next one to tell you: Pal, you're a hero,» Evans said. «What you did was so brave, so selfless. Your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you.»

In addition Evans stated that he's sending Bridger an authentic Captain America shield and that even though recovery is tough, there's nothing that can slow him down. So there we have it confirmation that real life hero's do exist and they don't always wear capes!
