BECKHAM FINALLY RESPONDS TO JOE LYCETT £10,000 SHREDDING STUNT

We all remember a month ago when Joe Lycett comedian, 34, issued an ultimatum to David Beckham to pull out of his contract with Qatar where homosexuality is still illegal, or he would livestream himself destroying £10,000 of his own money.

Beckham, 47, did not issue a public response, so Lycett proceeded to destroy the cash on a livestream as promised. It as later revealed that the money was fake and that he had indeed donated the real cash to LGBTQ+ charities.

However Lycett has tweeted that Beck's has now responded and his response will be revealed in his show tonight saying

We are lead to believe that this will be the only response from Beck's who back in 2002 was hailed an 'icon' within the LGBTQ+ community when he became the first ever Premier League footballer to star on the cover of Attitude, a gay magazine. Since his involvement with Qatar was revealed, his status as an LGBTQ+ ally has been questioned.
